समलैंगिकताको निर्णयमा खुसी भएका करण जोहरले भने, ‘अन्ततः ऐतिहासिक दिन, देशले आफ्नो अक्सिजन फिर्ता पायो’
भारतको सर्वोच्च अदालतले बिहिबार समलिङ्गीको पक्षमा आफ्नो निर्णय सुनाएको छ । प्रधान न्यायाधिस दिपक मिश्राको नेतृत्वमा पाँच न्यायाधिसको बेन्चले भने, ‘समलैंगिकता अपराध होइन ।’
सर्वोच्च अदालतको निर्णयलाई देशभरी स्वागत गरियो । बलिउडका सेलिब्रिटीले पनि उक्त निर्णयको तारिफ गर्दै सोसल मिडियामा आफ्नो विचार सार्वजनिक गरे । करण जोहरले लेखे, ‘अन्तत, ऐतिहासिक निर्णय । मलाई अत्यन्त गर्व महसुस भइरहेको छ । मानवता र समान अधिकारलाई महत्व दिनका लागि यो ऐतिहासिक कदम हो । देशले आफ्नो अक्सिजन फिर्ता पायो । ’
